Troubleshooting
If you experience problems while operating your Micron, please
use the following table to check for possible causes and solutions
before contacting Alesis customer service for assistance.
Symptoms
The display does not light up
when the ON/OFF switch
is turned on.
No sound.
Notes sustain continuously.
Notes played from Micron
have
a
"doubled"
"flanged" sound
Tempo cannot be controlled
from within the Micron.
Cause
No power.
Bad Connections.
Volume is turned down.
Local keyboard is disabled.
External MIDI device sent
Volume

Expression
commands with a value
approaching 0.
Sustain pedal was plugged in
after power was turned on.
Stuck
notes
incomplete MIDI data.
Local Control is set to "on,"

Solution
Check
adapter
properly.
Check your audio cables; if
necessary, swap cables.
Raise the Volume knob or
Exp pedal.
In the config menu, Set Local
Control to "on."
Change Setups to revert to

Re-transmit higher values
from MIDI device.
Turn the unit's power off,
wait a moment, and then
turn it on again.
